"This has been a great weekend," said Duncan.
"This new Arctic Cat is a rocket ship, and the company's technical and
engineering help has been an enormous help here. Our laps have been much more
consistent, and it's obvious this quad is competitive right out of the box. I
couldn't be happier."
The Thief River Falls, Minn. manufacturer of
snowmobiles and ATVs was also represented here by Daryl Rath
(No. 67 Rath Racing, Maxxis, Douglas Wheels/Arctic Cat), Jesse West
(No. 888 Oil Boyz, Stud Boy/Arctic Cat), and Kevin Johnston
(No. 225 Maxxis, Douglas/Arctic Cat).
STACK ATTACK...Jim Stack also
unveiled new colors this weekend on his No. 881 Quad. The affable Quarryville,
Pa. resident rode a Kawasaki this weekend in QuadTerrain Challenge.
Interestingly, Stack recovered from a suspension problem in the first heat
Saturday and rode from the back of the field to finish third in the QuadTerrain
Pro Stock final.
"Kawasaki really stepped for me this weekend,"
said the veteran Terrain rider. "We still have some R&D work to do, but
overall, to come from the back to grab the podium is impressive. We've had a
great time this season."
RECORD ENTRIES...A total of 243 entries were filed
for this weekend's event, the most so far this season.
