A veteran of the editing world, Daniel started out as a bookbinder and presser, gaining precious experience that would serve him well in the following years. He worked in car sales for 15 years, first as a salesman, then as business manager, sales manager, and finally general manager of a dealership. At the same time, he was responsible for training sales representatives and business managers, as well as marketing and telemarketing employees. He then returned to the printing industry, but this time as publisher and project director of Auto Hebdo's Evaluation Guide; he published several works, including the Green Book of Recreational Vehicles and compiled data on new and used vehicles. He later became editor in chief of Auto Journal, a specialized car magazine, contributing to several works and publications before joining the auto123.com and moto123.com team in 2006.

Pascal has always been fascinated by all things mechanical. At 5 years old, he was already dirt racing on his 70 cc mini motocross. At 14, during his first official motocross racing season, he finished in 15th place out of 32 competitors in the 250 cc class. He has been quenching his thirst for speed ever since, racing motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles alike. In 1999, Pascal discovered a new "hobby": car racing. After several advanced driving courses and 6,000 kilometers of track tests, Pascal embarked on his first season of Solo Sprint racing. In 2001, he finished second in the Solo Sprint class, in 2002, he was crowned champion of the Super Stock class, and in 2003, he became the overall leader in the Modified class. At the end of his first season of road racing, Pascal won the Rookie of the Year award. The following year, he finished first in the regional GTU series and second in the provincial GTU series. Career-wise, Pascal started out as a writer for the tuning section of the H. Grégoire magazine. He then worked as a moto and auto journalist for Automag, Motomag, and the Annuel de la moto. He joined our team in 2006, as an auto contributor (auto123.com) and moto journalist (moto123.com).
If there's one thing Henri is passionate about, it's motorcycles. He traveled to France to study mechanics and mechanical fitting, and then went on to work for Peugeot in the two-wheel design department. He returned to Quebec in 1973 and worked for the biggest motorcycle dealers of the Greater Montreal Area, where he steadily climbed the ranks, progressing from mechanic to foreman and finally to manager. He started his own company in the early '80s, selling and repairing motorcycles, snowmobiles, and ATV Quads. For over 15 years, he worked as tuner and mechanic for several drivers who have all been crowned champions, in Motocross, Drag, Dirt and Road racing. He returned to France in 1996 where he was offered a job as technician in charge of operations for a manufacturer of Grand Prix FRC (Fulgur Racing Concept) motorcycles. He came back to Canada, for good, in the spring of 1997. Since 1990, he has been teaching motorcycle and light car mechanics at the École des métiers de l'équipement motorisé de Montréal (EMEMM). At the end of the '90s, he became a journalist and started writing for MotoMag and Le monde du VTT Quad, and contributed to the very first Annuel de la moto. Today, Henri is part of the moto123.com team, our motorcycle and ATV mechanics expert. |
