2015 BMW R1200GS
In less than a decade, without any major evolution to its iconic R1200GS, BMW has managed to sell more than 170,000 units. No competitor has been able to steal the lead, although some of them have gotten dangerously close of late. BMW therefore returned to the drawing board, and fitted the R1200GS with an all-new, liquid-cooled engine that cranks out more power (+15 hp) and torque (+3 lb-ft) than the outgoing model, four ECU modes, a slipper clutch, and a revised semi-active Telelever front suspension. They also moved the transmission under the engine.
