990 Adventure Revision For 2009
The new Adventure features 106 hp (+8 over 2008), detail improvements to the fairing and baggage, a lockable storage compartment, a new dash display, a coded ignition key and white in addition to KTM « Standard » orange.

Engine internals have also been reworked to reduce vibrations.

990 Adventure

New 990 Adventure R
The R replaces the older S variant of the 990 Adventure, and is more oriented to off road activities than the base model. Accordingly, it features greater ground clearance (With attendant higher saddle height) as well as greater suspension travel and ergonomics that make off road riding easier, such as a more comfortable position for riding while standing up.

A more powerful engine (115 hp) and new colour scheme complete the snapshot for this exciting new model.

990 Adventure R

1190 RC8R - for those in a big hurry
The long awaited RC8 was crammed with exciting features when it first came out in Europe in 2006, some of which could have used just a little more development. This is all old news for 2009 with the new RC8R, which delivers on the early promise of the RC8, and in fact goes well beyond the potential of the earlier model.

Looks have been stylized to provide a distinctive appearance while keeping the signature KTM flavour, the motor now delivers 165 horses, the gearbox has been improved to provide smoother and more positive shifts, electronic mapping has been fine tuned, and forged Marchesini wheels are now standard equipment on the R. Add thicker brake discs, a shorter wheelbase and steeper rake, and you have the perfect toy for aggressive street or track riding, or just stylin' on Main Street.

The base RC8 is also available for 2009, and it benefits from the development work that has taken place over the last two years.
