2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS Track Test

9-6-2011

by Pascal Bastien , moto123.com

Admittedly, with or without the S-KTRC system, the ZX-10R ABS shows phenomenal rear-wheel grip and proves so effective that I was under the impression of handling less power than in reality. Yet, this bike has a power-to-weight ratio of 1 hp/kg. That would be like a Mazda3 cranking out 1,200 horsepower at 14,000 rpm! Can you imagine?

Ultimately, the new 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS outperforms its predecessor on every front. It's actually the highest performing, easiest to exploit, most technologically advanced and safest Japanese superbike ever built. It not only matches its direct rivals but also shows them the way to go, except maybe a certain S1000RR.
