The 450, 550 and 700 models now use a new oil-bath primary drive in addition to the traditional belt drive CVT. The primary clutch lets the CVT remain engaged at all times, and providing livelier acceleration and throttle response, finer control at low speeds and increased belt life.

The front-back two seater models have also been improved, as the 550 TRV GT and 700 TRV GT now benefit from the Electric Power Steering, and from 12-inch alloy wheels derived from the swankier S and LTD models – at no extra charge.

Thanks to its new HDX 700 Side-by-Side models featuring the best payload in the industry, and major improvements to its leisure ATV lineup, Arctic Cat will remain one of the most sought-after manufacturers in 2011.
