2011 Yamaha Rhino 700 FI Sport Edition Deluxe Review

11-26-2010

by Pascal Bastien , moto123.com

While the underbody is properly shielded, I thought the radiator lacked protection. Seriously, check the company's accessory catalogue if you plan on tackling treacherous zones off the regulated trail network. On the plus side, the air filter intake is mounted high to avoid water and debris ingestion.

Riding on a set of new 25-inch, 4-ply tires, the Rhino displays superior high-speed stability than the entry-level model. It also boosts ground clearance and seemingly makes hardcore riding a lot easier than with a traditional ATV.

I believe Yamaha has done excellent work over the years. From the original concept of 2003 to this new 2011 Sport Edition Deluxe model, the Rhino 700 FI shows that it can haul, tow, cross, cruise, and shoot, with or without a fellow adventurer sitting next to you, always safely and comfortably. Furthermore, it strongly appeals to both riders and bystanders with its small 4x4 pickup looks.
