2011 Yamaha Apex X-TX Review

3-4-2011

by Pascal Bastien , moto123.com

The suspension acts like a traditional 121-inch track configuration when tearing up the compacted snow on trails (the machine easily carves out corners) and like a 144-inch number off trail (optimal flotation). Thanks to the unique rails, the Apex also offers superior comfort over bumps.

It’s a quicker sled, to be sure, but it’s also more comfortable and user-friendly than ever. (Photo: Matthieu Lambert/Auto123.com)

The Apex has matured over the years and finally found its true identity. The sporty brute you had to tame in order to develop its full potential has become a true GT. It’s a quicker sled, to be sure, but it’s also more comfortable and user-friendly than ever.
