The KingQuad 705 is known for both its utilitarian and athletic qualities. Very few utility ATVs can boast of offering such precise manoeuvrability and driving, making it one of the nicest utility ATVs for sporty riding. Suzuki is updating it again this year with the addition of an electric power steering  system. The advantages are clear: lighter steering under any condition, and dampening of trail irregularities that are otherwise transmitted to the handlebars, and thus increasing the rider's endurance.

With the experience gathered in the automotive market, Suzuki had no trouble developing a steering assist system. The new system is controlled by a computer equipped with a torque sensor that detects the force applied to the steering column, whether it comes from above or below. The computer produces the necessary assistance according to the data collected.

Unlike the competition, Suzuki had the good idea to position the system's components as high as possible under the bodywork to minimize exposure to the elements. The driving position of the power steering-equipped KingQuad is different from the standard model, as the handlebars are slightly nearer the rider to ensure a straighter driving position, admittedly less sporty but much more comfortable for long-haul treks.

Suzuki is extending is utility ATV lineup yet again with the new KingQuad 500 AXi. Built around the same frame as its brothers, the new KingQuad delivers more torque and power than the 450-cc model. Like its older sibling, it now comes with electric power steering. It boasts all the qualities and characteristics of the KingQuad family and features aluminum wheels and 25-inch tires like the 750-cc model. Thanks to undeniable qualities and their all-new electronic steering assist systems, the KingQuad 750 AXi and the KingQuad 500 AXi will make a big splash in 2009.
