Mule Trans 4x4

The 2009 Mule Trans 4x4 offers unparalleled versatility in the industry thanks to a long-wheelbase chassis. It maximizes cargo capacity in two-seat configuration or passenger capacity in four-seat configuration. The switch requires no tool and is completed in less than a minute. So, when you want more cargo room, simply push the button on the dashboard to fold the rear seat and deploy the side bed panels.

Mule Trans 4x4 Diesel
Powered by a proven, sturdily-built, 953-cc, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder diesel, the Mule Trans 4x4 Diesel offers a stronger towing capacity than the gas-powered model (740 kilos vs 603). The electronic fuel injection system is calibrated to maximize low-end torque, making this machine the perfect workhorse for low-speed heavy duties. Furthermore, it burns the same diesel fuel as heavy machinery on farms and construction sites.

All 4000-series Mules are equipped with a dual-range automatic CVT featuring a functional Engine Brake Control (EBC) system. Exclusive to Kawasaki is a manually-operated locking front differential: when the dash-mounted lever is not engaged, the system operates as a conventional limited-slip differential to offer light steering effort and great maneuverability. Engaging the lever locks the differential and provides higher 4WD versatility. The main benefit of a manually-operated system compared to an electric one (as found on most competitors) is that it can be locked on the fly at any speed. Awesome!

The 2009 Mules also receive car-like seatbelts and a safety cell that protects occupants in the event of a rollover.

Kawasaki fans and demanding workers alike will now be able to choose from a diversified lineup of side-by-side utility machines that won't disappoint.
