Unique drivetrain
Power is distributed by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with High and Low range. The drive converter uses a four-finger spider that distributes loads better than a traditional three-finger spider. Thanks to this unique feature, CVT response is smoother and wear is reduced. The Brute Force is also equipped with a rider-controlled, variable front differential -- unseen in other industries, let alone on other ATVs. With the hand lever released, the system functions as a light limited-slip differential. Pulling the lever increases the torque on the limited-slip plates until the differential effectively locks.

The rear final drive housing carries Kawasaki's internal wet brake system. The brake operates in the final drive's oil bath, which makes the unit longer-lasting and much more low-maintenance than a traditional, disc or drum brake system.


More stable than ever
The Brute Force 750 was the first ATV from Kawasaki to get a four-wheel independent suspension. Sport riding enthusiasts will be happy to know that the 2008 model not only receives engine and drivetrain upgrades but also benefits from revisions to the suspension and seat. The new dual-rate springs were designed to deliver the best of both worlds (ride and handling). Meanwhile, the all-new seat, which uses firmer foam padding, enhances comfort and especially rider support.

Other additions include a new waterproof compartment and new chrome wheels. On a very interesting note, the Brute Force gets the first 4-bulb headlight in the industry. In order to further reduce weight, Kawasaki engineers incorporated all-aluminum floorboards and smaller, lighter luggage carriers. The fuel tank is now located beneath the rear portion of the new seat, which lowers the center of gravity and therefore improves stability.

The 2008 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 is more aggressively styled, with a front guard that's better designed to accommodate a winch (the latter is available as a standalone option). Although its engine displacement is slightly smaller than some rivals, the Brute Force 750 is by far one of the fastest ATVs in the industry. And thanks to the new electronic fuel injection system and a host of upgrades, it will have no problem edging its way among the best of the best.
