Nice handling
It goes without saying that the excellent riding position allows greater rideability. The Majesty delivers a reassuring performance when accelerating and braking. From a practical standpoint, I enjoyed the park brake integrated to the left handlebar: it's easy to use and prevents the scooter from moving on sloped ground. The Majesty's good overall balance allows you to attack corners with confidence. Simply by turning the inside knee, the scooter leans naturally.

The mirrors offer good visibility and they do not shake. At highway speeds, maintaining a straight line is almost child's play. The shock absorbers pleasantly surprised me; when compressed, the ride might be relatively harsh in the back, but the trajectory is not affected at all. Elsewhere, the clever design of the windshield includes laminar flow venting to help reduce the vacuum effect. During nighttime riding, the dual halogen headlights provide a bright beam of light to improve visibility.

The price is reasonable and the riding dynamics will suit anybody.

Wrap-up
I enjoyed the Yamaha Majesty 400 for its easy-to-ride dynamics, balanced power, comfortable riding position and generous storage. With this full-size scooter, the manufacturer offers an interesting alternative to motorcycles. Scooter enthusiasts get a safe, smooth-riding machine both for the city and the open road.
