Chad Wienen carried the day Saturday, winning to the top spot in qualifying for the second of two SuperQuad Pro 450 finals during the GBC National at Virginia Motorsports Park. The event represents Rounds 6 and 7 of the 2007 WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour.

Wienen (No. 44 Team Rockstar, MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) won both of his heats to net the pole and continued the dominance of Suzuki in weekend qualifying. Wienen's teammate Dustin Wimmer won the pole yesterday for the first final.

John Natalie, Jr. (No. 13 Elka, Maxxis/Honda) was second quick, ahead of Wimmer (No. 191 MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki), who qualified third.

The GBC National concludes tomorrow with Amateur racing, as well as Pro finals, which are scheduled for 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

This weekend's events will be telecast on ESPN2 on Saturday, Aug. 18 at noon EDT, and again on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 1 p.m. EDT.
