SPEED will telecast an unprecedented 20 hours of television coverage of the 2006-2007 WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour. SPEED, the leader in motorsports, automotive and powersports programming, will telecast each event in one-hour Saturday timeslots at 2 p.m. EST, followed by a re-air of the telecast the following Thursday in midday or early afternoon timeslots. SPEED begins its coverage Dec. 9 with a one-hour telecast from the AMSOIL Duluth National at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn.

"When we set out to finalize our television schedule, we took a page from the NFL, NASCAR and other successful made-for-television sports," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. CEO Rick Murphy. "We determined that set times and days will further accentuate the world-class television coverage we featured last season. Now, fans can be assured they can turn to SPEED on Saturdays at 2 p.m. for the excitement that only Snocross can offer. Plus, each race will re-air just five days later to give everyone a second chance to watch.

"SPEED is the ultimate racing enthusiast network," added Murphy. "SPEED reaches nearly 71 million homes in the U.S., Canada and Latin America, and its partnership represents a significant step for us in terms of television coverage. This year's television schedule will offer the most coverage in the history of our sport and will showcase what Snocross racing is all about."

"SPEED is excited to team with PowerSports Entertainment to bring our viewers coverage of Snocross as part of the network's winter programming schedule," said Robert Eckert, SPEED VP of Programming. "These guys turn snowmobile racing into a true art form and I think it's something SPEED viewers will really appreciate."

The Tour is also pleased to welcome back last season's television production company Winnercomm. Winnercomm returns to the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour after producing a successful PowerSports ATV Tour season during the summer. Its Snocross crew includes producer David Bruner and most of the core TV production team from last season.

"Winnercomm has been a valued partner from the beginning, on both the Snocross and ATV sides of our business," said Scott O'Malley, president of PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. "During that time, Winnercomm proved time and again to be at the forefront of powersports television production."

The first race on the 2006-2007 WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour season is scheduled for Nov. 24-26, 2006 with the AMSOIL Duluth National at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn. Advance tickets are available at www.visitduluth.com or by calling 218-722-4011.
