The schedule, which is organized geographically, will tentatively feature two double championship weekends at venues to be announced.

"With the return to Vernon, N.Y., as well as the addition of Eagle River, along with our more traditional venues, the 2006-2007 PowerSports Snowmobile Tour will be one for the history books," said PowerSports Entertainment CEO Rick Murphy. "Our fan-friendly venues will continue to offer the diverse entertainment activities our fans have come to expect from the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour."

"Our 2006-2007 Snocross season is set to one of the best on record," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. president Scott O'Malley. "We have received feedback from our teams, riders and our fans expressing the need to have races move geographically throughout North America, so we organized the schedule accordingly. The schedule starts in the Midwest, moves into the Northeast and then moves out West to Montana with the finale in Wisconsin. We think this will allow an easier progression through the schedule for our teams, while still allowing us to compete at some of the top venues in North America."

The season begins Nov. 24-26 at its traditional Thanksgiving kick-off AMSOIL Duluth Championship at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn., followed by a traditional stop at the Otsego Club in Gaylord, Mich. Dec. 16-17. The Tour will start 2007 at the popular Air Force Canterbury Championship at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn., Jan. 13-14.
