"We're looking forward to getting back on track," said Duncan. "Echeconnee is a great facility, and we're looking for more positive results. We're also pleased to welcome FLY Racing this weekend. FLY is a well-respected company with a long history of excellence."

In his own words...
Joe Duncan on the Daniel Boone MX weekend: At the last minute, the Monday before the event, I decided to go and compete in the WPSA QuadTerrain Challenge Pro Stock class. With this new sport just emerging, I knew there wouldn't be a lot of entries and we would need to fill as many gate spots as possible. So, on Monday afternoon I went and traded in my 700 Polaris with more than 1,000 miles on it for a new 700 EFI. I loaded it in the back of the truck and headed to Hutchinson to meet Daryl and Jennifer Rath from Rath Racing, who on in a similar situation; just finding out on Tuesday that Daryl was going to be competing as well, on an Arctic Cat ATV that AC engineering was bringing. So we jumped in my truck and bolted to London, Ky. for a nice 17-in-a-half-hour drive.

Both of our Quads came right off the showroom floor. Daryl had Douglas Wheel and Maxxis Tire send him out a complete set of wheels and tires. Then Wade from Tireballs installed a Tireball set up and put the tires and rims together for Daryl's Quad. They were put on and we were ready for practice Friday afternoon.

We looked at the course and it was a little hard to figure out where to go at first. So Donny Banks, the Race Director for MX Quad racing and a fellow QuadTerrain Challenge competitor gave us a one-lap tour. Wow! Logs, Rocks, Mud, more Logs, more Mud, off-camber hills, whoop section--It was incredible. All the things you would use your utility quad out on the trail packed into this less-than-one-quarter-mile closed-loop course. The lap times where one min 40 seconds, up to three minutes, depending on how or if you made it through the logs, mud and rocks. Tes Sewell (PowerSports ATV Championship Tour Race Director) and the guys from WPSA did a great job setting this up and laying it out.
