The move is part of an overall plan to continue to expand and enhance the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour's ladder system.

"The 300cc Class is an excellent bridge between the 120 CHAMPS class and our larger-displacement snowmobiles in the Junior classes," said Kent Lungstrom, PowerSports Entertainment Inc. Executive VP of Operations. "These riders are the future of Snocross racing, and with the right support, we believe these young racers will our next superstars."

The 2006-2007 PowerSports Snowmobile Tour season kicks off Nov. 24-26 at the AMSOIL Duluth Championship at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn. The event is the first of 10 events on tap this season.
