More than 1 million cubic feet, equal to approximately 30 million pounds, of snow have been made to date for the upcoming WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour inaugural Eastern National at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. The event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday Feb. 10-11, 2007 and will be telecast on SPEED on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. EST.

WPSA snowmaking crews, along with assistance from Turning Stone's staff, have spent nearly a month creating the snow. The 50-foot-wide track will feature a four-foot base at its shallowest point. Crews will continue to make snow next week.

"Our snowmaking crews, along with the exceptionally helpful staff at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, have really pulled out all of the stops to make this event a success," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. "Their hard work will definitely pay off as we begin track construction late next week. This event is certain to be one of the highlights of the 2006-2007 season."

Along with two full days of Snocross racing, the event will also feature a vendor's row inside the venue's large expo center, demo rides of new snowmobiles, as well as a Pro autograph session on Saturday, and many other entertainment opportunities.

"We worked diligently with the local staff to make this a true wintertime entertainment event," said Scott O'Malley, president of PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. "Along with the top Snocrossers in the country, including Tucker Hibbert, TJ Gulla, Robbie Malinoski and many others, the weekend will feature many other events for all ages. We're looking forward to our inaugural event here."

Great tickets are still available at www.PowerSportsTour.com. All advance ticket purchases will include a free pit pass, allowing fans an up-close-and-personal view of the PowerSports Tour's top racers and their highly tuned snowmobiles.
