Yamaha Canada has announced its 2016 motorcycle lineup highlighted by the all-new YZ250X ($7,899), a cross-country bike based on the 2-stroke YZ250. Its XC-focused chassis includes revised suspension settings, an 18" rear wheel, a new aluminum side stand, and a new fuel petcock that offers a reserve position for peace of mind.

Meanwhile, the 2016 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F have been refreshed, the former with engine updates such as the addition of launch control for faster starts, and the latter with a number of detail improvements to the piston, piston pin, crank, clutch, and transmission. The most noticeable change for both is the limited-edition yellow and black colour scheme celebrating Yamaha’s 60th anniversary.
The Yamaha FZ-09, FZ-07, Bolt, Bolt R-Spec, WR250R, TW200, XT250, TT-R110E, and PW50 have all been revised for 2016, as well.
