Triumph starts 2015 as best-selling European brand in North America
The first month of 2015 proved highly profitable for Triumph, which ranked as the best-selling European brand in North America. The result is based upon motorcycle unit sales in the on-road and dual-sport categories for the U.S. and Canada.
“Triumph achieved a combined 82 percent increase in year-over-year retail sales in North America in January. This record month for the Hinckley-era Triumph would not be possible without the hard work of our dealers,” said Matt Sheahan, COO of Triumph Motorcycles America. “The results clearly state that Triumph is a growth brand, and consumers continue to be attracted to our distinctive British styling with modern technology on our bikes.”
In January, Triumph sales rose 66% in the U.S. and an extraordinary 379% in Canada as compared to last year.
