On certain BMW C600 motorcycles from the 2012-2013 model years, the fairing side panels can loosen and detach from the vehicle while travelling at very high speeds. They could strike the rider or passenger, another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury.

As a result, BMW Motorrad dealers in Canada will replace the fasteners on the fairing side panels. A total of 58 units are reportedly affected.
