As reported by KTM

Royal Distributing KTM Canada is extremely pleased to announce the resigning of Canadian Kyle McGlynn to their factory team for 2010. Coming into last year KTM Canada hoped Kyle would show some consistency and top ten results, and after the first half of the season Kyle was sitting in 3rd position in the series. Unfortunately an untimely injury at round 8 knocked him off the overall podium, but his season to that point was great. McGlynn brings a focus and determination that is rare in such a young rider. This was most evident at last years mud race at Ste-Thecle, Quebec where McGlynn rode a fantastic race in the unbelievably terrible conditions and took his first ever overall Pro National victory.

McGlynn who works hard during the cold winter months in his home Province of Alberta will be training and practicing for the upcoming season on the new 2010 KTM 250 SX-F machines, and will join teammate Eric Nye in the MX 2 Class.

“I am happy we have come to an agreement with Kyle to race for us for 2010. He is a pleasure to be around and a great influence on the team members as far as work ethic is concerned” says KTM Canada National race manager Andy White. “Kyle will give 100% and represent KTM Canada and our sponsors well which is very important.’’

McGlynn will be running #18 in 2010 and will be a legitimate podium threat each and every weekend. KTM Canada is proud to support a hard working rider like Kyle and is looking forward to a great 2010 season with him under the tent.
