A total of 1,190 KTM and Husaberg motorcycles are being recalled in Canada due to a problem with the throttle cable.
In some cases, the throttle cable may have been manufactured incorrectly, which could prevent the throttle from opening and closing normally. This could result in a loss of propulsion, or make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.
Dealers will therefore inspect and, if necessary, replace the throttle cable.
Affected models include:
- 2013 Husaberg TE 250
- 2013 Husaberg TE 300
- 2013 KTM 125 SX
- 2013 KTM 150 XC

- 2013 KTM 250 SX
- 2013 KTM 250 XC
