The latest addition to Honda's range of side-by-side vehicles, which already includes the Pioneer 500 and Pioneer 700, is the all-new 2016 Pioneer 1000 offering best-in-class payload.

The North American-built 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 boasts a 999cc engine and dual-clutch transmission – a first for side-by-side vehicles. Buyers can select the three-passenger Pioneer 1000 EPS or the five-passenger Pioneer 1000-5 EPS. Both feature 4WD capability and electronic power steering, although the latter adds 27” tires, LED headlights, and a full-size convertible bed.

In related news, the 2016 Honda Pioneer 700 and 700-4 use a 675cc liquid-cooled engine that’s paired to an automatic transmission with automotive-style torque converter and a dual-stage shift map.

Finally, the 2016 Honda Pioneer 500 has steering wheel-mounted paddle shifting, independent rear suspension, and single-function door and net.
