Electric bike leader Zero Motorcycles unveiled its 2013 model lineup, which features an average power increase of 99% and the world's longest-range production electric motorcycle: the Zero S, capable of 137 miles (about 220 kilometres) in the city.

All models are powered by the new Z-Force motor and Z-Force battery. They can be charged to 95% in an hour or less using CHAdeMO charging stations (by way of an optional accessory).

As part of the world's first truly modular quick-swap power pack, riders can now use either one or two battery modules and can upgrade any Zero model from 2.8 kWh to 5.7 kWh in seconds.

Meanwhile, Bluetooth connectivity allows them to synchronize their iPhone or Android mobile phones to get detailed motorcycle information and even adjust performance characteristics.

Deliveries will begin in January 2013 for North America and in February 2013 for Europe. Authorized dealers are already accepting orders.
