X-town MX and Ormstown FMSQ

First it was Karine's race she got a nice holeshot and proceed to stretch her lead to 3 min at the end! Then it was my turn, i got a real shitty start in 15th and the first part of the track was really dusty so i took my time , i was still pretty quickly in 3rd, and followed those ktm guys for a while, i didnt felt like getting roost so i passed them before the end of lap one, one guy stayed with me for half the second lap but then i started stretching them about 30 sec a lap, i was slower than usual making sure i save my bike and tires(lots of flats there). I also realized that my suspension set up is way to stiff for slippery rocks... I was racing a sandy mx race only 12hrs ago on the same set up...

Anyway i had about a 5 min lead on the last lap, until i saw a down rider in the fastest rocky section, i stop dropped my bike and picked him up and sat him beside a tree, then i pushed his bike out of the way, he was half ok, he had knocked the wind out of himself, but everything else looked ok, after talking to him a little bit he recognized me and kind of woke up, and told me to go he would be fine... So i jumped back on my bike and finished with a 3 min lead. I saw the guy after the race at the medic tent and he had a broken callarbone, i guess the tree that he hit, won!

This week is more tuning on the bike for the last 2 CEC, more cycling, and hopefully get my stupid leg nerve fixed! next week-end is a trail ride on saturday in Labelle, then it's either an MX race or a fun off road race on sunday?? will see...

Have Fun this week, summer is finally here , it's been 3 days without rain!!!!!
