Following the announcement of the 2011 MotoGP provisional entry list, the FIM has proceeded with the official announcement for the 2011 World Superbike Championship.

More than 20 full time riders should be on the grid while the name of the rider for Pedercini Kawasaki as yet to be named.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated first official World Superbike test starts at Portimao, in Portugal, Wednesday.

The three-day outing is the first of two official pre-season track sessions. The second will be at Phillip Island, Australia, from February 21-22.
