Despite enjoying a brief run in the MidlandF1 car this past week at Silverstone, Max Biaggi has confirmed that his sights are firmly on the two wheel motorsport arena for 2006 and he expects to make an announcement about his future very soon.

Biaggi undertook some nine laps on a wet circuit and afterwards he told Crash.net he would be in talks for his future later in the week.

"Of course, as everyone knows, there is a possibility for me riding in SBK and the World Superbikes, but at the moment there's really nothing decided yet," he told Crash.net Radio. "We're going to talk more definitely this week, and from there we're going to move on, but very quick because the championships start early so the time runs out, so we must keep pushing."

Biaggi also reiterated his commitment to motor cycle racing. "Of course, motorbike is in my blood," he said. "It's the thing that makes me quite big and the thing that made me grow up. A car and four wheels is something different, but the feeling is good, so you never know."
