When a motorcyclist is involved in an accident, first responders have always had to deal with the fact that removing the helmet can make matters much worse, which makes for tricky rescue operations. This might soon be a thing of the past thanks to a prototype developed by Voztec.



The idea is simple and efficient: a rear detachable panel allows the helmet to be slid off. The panel is held in place by clips, eliminating almost all risk of potentially dangerous movements when emergency responders need to intervene.

The concept not only applies to motorcycle industry, but also to motor sports, winter sports, fire fighters, the military and even the NFL.

Don’t expect your local dealer to have the helmet in stock tomorrow, however, as Voztec is currently having its invention tested by an independent firm and is looking for investors to help market the new technology.
