Updated versions of the Suzuki GSX-R600 and 750 and a new naked model, the much-expected GSR750, were unveiled by Suzuki today, October 5, at the Cologne Bike Show.

The GSX-R models are an evolution of the sportbike from the inventors of the category with the first GSX-R750 back in 1985. The new GSR750 sporty naked bike has created a lot of excitement in Europe, and will likely do the same on this side of the Atlantic, pitted against various models from most manufacturers.

Japanese competition will come from the CBR600RRA and CBF1000A from Honda, the FZ8 and Fazer 8 from Yamaha, and the Er-6N, Versys and even the Z1000 from Kawasaki. Add several Euro bikes to this mix and you can see that competition in this market segment will be fierce.

We will post the material on the new machines as soon as it becomes available.
