Last Thursday was the last of the three days-winter tests at PHILLIP ISLAND in Australia.

The two D'ANTIN PRAMAC TEAM riders both went on with their apprenticeship on the DUCATI DESMOSEDICI GP06 and DUNLOP tyres.

The best time of ALEX HOFMANN has been a good 1'32''4, though he crashed after 25 laps during the first day, hurting his elbow. The German rider didn't ride under wet conditions during the second day and went back on track on the last day though he still wasn't at 100%.

The Spanish rider, JOSE LUIS CARDOSO, has done a lot of km, and good improvements, riding in 1'32''4 as well.

The next WINTER TESTS are scheduled at SEPANG in Malaysia: from Tuesday 14th February until Thursday 16th February.

ALEX HOFMANN #66:

"During the first day, I had a crash after 25 laps, hitting my elbow pretty hard. So I decided not to ride during the second day, as it was raining and I needed to relax for my elbow. On the third day, I wasn't 100% physically perfect but we did good practice. We collected a lot of new information about the tyres, the motorcycle and everything. I was quite happy ending riding in 1'32''4 with race tyres. There is still a lot of room for improvements and we already have a good direction of work. From last year, everything is better, DUNLOP is improving too and we gave them other new indications to go on this way. It will be good to come back here in Australia in full fitness. Now we will keep on working and I'm confident".
