A disappointing end of the season for Roby

In the seventeenth and last Grand Prix of the season on the circuit of VALENCIA in SPAIN, the race of the D'ANTIN PRAMAC TEAM rider ended too early.

Riding his DUCATI DESMOSEDICI GP04, ROBERTO ROLFO crashed during the first lap because of a contact with another rider.

ROBERTO ROLFO:

"After a good start, I've been hit by another rider. I was actually keeping the ideal trajectory line, I was quite ahead but I crashed being slapped by my colleague. That's the second time it happens during this season and I'm sorry about it because, even if this race would surely have been difficult, I would have had fun and I could have obtained more points for the Championship Classification.
This year, I met a new team and I had a great time with all of them, we've always worked in a positive environment from the beginning until the end. I think I've grown up a lot during this season; passing from 250cc to MotoGP is difficult and I'm happy to have done it with the D'ANTIN PRAMAC TEAM. I hope to go on in this class in the best way as possible".

LUIS D'ANTIN - D'ANTIN PRAMAC TEAM MANAGER:

"I'm sorry to end the season in this way. This year hasn't been very easy; we've learnt a lot about the tyres development and I think that we now have to concentrate ourselves only on our aims for 2006. I would like to thank all the financial and technical partners that helped us during the 2005 season".
