BMW announced a recall on certain K1200R and K1200S motorcycles. A total of 258 units are affected.

It's been discovered that vibration can cause foaming of the brake fluid in the reservoir of the front brakes. This foaming may cause air to enter into the brake system, severely diminishing its effectiveness and therefore increasing the risk of a crash.

BMW dealers will install a screen insert into the front brake fluid reservoir.
