BMW Motorrad Canada is recalling 54 R1200GS motorcycles from 2013 because the threaded plugs which secure the front fork tubes to the upper triple clamp may loosen over time. This could allow a fork tube to detach, resulting in a sudden loss of steering control.

Consequently, dealers will crimp-lock the fork tube threaded plugs.
