Series organiser Dorna has announced that MotoGP will make a comeback to South America, specifically in Argentina in 2013.
It was revealed that a three-year deal has been signed between the premier motorcycling series and the organisers at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo in the Santiago del Estero province.
The track is currently used for local events and the accord is subject to the completion of upgrade work at the circuit.
Argentina will be for the first time ever a regular stop on the MotoGP schedule; having previously hosted races at the Buenos Aires track on 10 occasions in the past.
