Following changes adopted, regarding MotoGP testing rules, teams will now have unlimited use of their race riders during in-season running.
During the season that just ended, race riders were only allowed two days of testing apart from the official IRTA tests that take place sporadically during the season.
But now the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) has decided that from now on all riders would be allowed to test, subject to a limit on the number of tyres being imposed.
The new test rules will also cover running taking place for the remainder of this year.
Among the other rule changes agreed upon are spec brake disc sizes of 320mm for bikes not running under CRT rules and a mandate that all bikes must carry brake lever protection.
