The Federation Internationale du Motocyclisme (FIM) has released today the provisional schedule for the 2012 MotoGP season with a total unchanged to 18 races.

As it has been the case in recent years, Quatar will host the inaugural night race while Valencia in Spain will be the season’s grand finale.

The United States Grand Prix at Laguna Seca and the Indianapolis Grand Prix will take place one after the other, but with three weeks in between them.
