MotoGP’s frontrunner Dani Pedrosa has undergone surgery on his right clavicle on Wednesday, following his crash during the last French Grand Prix.

The Repsol Honda ace's participation in the Grand Prix of Catalunya, which will take place on June 5th, remains uncertain after a titanium plate was inserted to fix the fracture.

Pedrosa will be released from hospital after medical checks and will begin passive rehabilitation next week.
