Dani Pedrosa (Honda) will not be on the starting grid for the upcoming Grand Prix of Catalunya: still having to recover from the surgery he had on his injury.
Pedrosa had to have surgery to fix his right collarbone he broke after crashing during the French Grand Prix with Marco Simoncelli.
Honda said the timetable for Pedrosa's return to racing will depend on how the injury heals from now on. The next race takes place next weekend at Silverstone.
Meanwhile, Marco Simoncelli has been summoned to a meeting with MotoGP race direction at Catalunya to discuss his clash with Dani Pedrosa.
Simoncelli was immediately given a ride-through penalty for the incident, dropping him from second place to seventh. He later recovered to fifth.
But now a statement from MotoGP's governing body the FIM has raised the possibility of further action against Simoncelli this weekend.
