KTM Canada is recalling 697 motorcycles from the 2012-2013 model years because the fuel hose (between the fuel tank and the throttle body fuel rail) may have been incorrectly manufactured and could leak. In the presence of an ignition source, this could result in a fire.
Additionally, fuel may leak onto the rear tire while the motorcycle is being ridden, which could increase the risk of a crash.
KTM dealers will therefore replace the fuel hose on all affected models.
