With a market share of nearly 20%, Honda was the best-selling motorcycle brand in Canada last year. A total of 10,930 bikes – more than 1,000 units ahead of the closest competitor – went off dealer lots.

“Motorcycles are at the very core of the Honda brand. It’s where our company began and we’re tremendously proud to have moved into the top sales position in Canada,” said Jerry Chenkin, President and CEO of Honda Canada Inc.

Honda was the top selling brand in Off-Road recreation, Dual Sport and Sport categories in 2014. The Japanese manufacturer enjoyed great success in motorcycle racing, as well, winning both the Canadian MX Championship title and the Canadian Superbike Championship title.
