Jacques Villeneuve Sr., who was seriously injured at the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt last season, confirmed that he will take part in the 2014 edition from February 14-16.

A three-time Eastern Pro Tour/Pro Champ 440 champion, Villeneuve's last win came in Boonville, New York, a week before his devastating crash.

''The kids have gained experience over the years, and they make things a lot harder for us,'' he said. ''I'm not about to quit, though. Mental preparation means everything during a race. I need to get my mind right in order to push the limits.''
