6. Thermal Layer Clothing

Most major sporting equipment brands will have some sort of thermal layering in their product lineup. I use Icebreaker Icebreaker Merino Wool leggings when it gets too cold for comfort. They’re ultra thin, but keep me quite warm. It’s also handy when it comes to packing. They don’t take up a lot of room, which is ideal, considering I don’t usually have much to spare on a long ride!

Whether looking for a man’s top or woman’s turtleneck, they have it. Granted, it’s not cheap. Not at all. But it’s worth the investment if you’re an avid cold-weather rider.
