The Ducati 1199 Panigale will play a key role in the upcoming Kick-Ass 2 movie, the sequel to the 2010 hit comedy about a unique bunch of superheroes. Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) will indeed ride a fantastic-looking 1199 Panigale that matches her dark purple outfit.

In the movie, Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Hit-Girl will join a new group of costumed citizens led by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey). They will go up against Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and his band of evil-doers.

John Leguizamo and Nicolas Cage will also star, the latter playing Hit-Girl's father.

Kick-Ass 2 will hit theaters in July, and DVD/Blu-Ray shelves in September. We can't wait to see Hit-Girl literally kick butt with the help of her Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Let's just hope that the Italian manufacturer won't release a purple edition of its superbike for 2014...
