On September 1, Han Blesse was promoted to Executive Vice President, sales and marketing at BMW Motorrad. He is taking over from Hendrik von Kuenheim, who was acting as interim manager since last April.


Blesse was hired by BMW Canada in 1987 and has been with the manufacturer ever since. He worked for that division until 2005, after which he was responsible for BMW Motorrad's after-sales service in Spain.

Blesse's main goal is to significantly increase BMW's sales in the upcoming years. To do so, he says that BMW Motorrad will launch several new models in market segments previously shunned by the manufacturer.
