According to MotoGP expert Neil Spalding, world champion Casey Stoner will retire from the sport at the end of this season. He is currently second in the standings.

Despite earning 19 podiums in his last 20 races, the 26-year-old rider reportedly wants to spend more time with his family. He had previously denied rumours about his retirement, saying that he was going to continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it.
