On March 22, 2007, BRP announced with great pomp that a new design and innovation centre would be opened in Valcourt. Eighteen months and fifteen million dollars later, the Laurent Beaudoin Design & Innovation Centre has been inaugurated.


The new building, adjacent to BRP's head office, takes up 5,000 square feet, the size of a football field. It will be home to the 60 employees that make up the design team.

BRP has always used innovative design to stand out from its competitors. The REV snowmobile platform, and more recently, the introduction of a revolutionary recreational vehicle, the Can-Am Spyder, are two good examples of that. The Laurent Beaudoin Design & Innovation Centre will allow the company to continue on its innovative path.
