Arctic Cat is voluntarily recalling more than 16,000 snowmobiles following 13 different reports of lower suspension arms cracking. Riders could lose control of the machines, get injured or even die.

Owners of X1, TZ1, F, Bearcat, M and CF models sold between June 2009 and January 2011 should immediately stop using their snowmobiles and contact their local dealer for a service appointment. The necessary repairs will be free of charge.
