Yamaha revised and redesigned its entire range of flagship sport boats for 2015. The new SX240 High Output is now a full 24' long and about 300lbs heavier to accommodate one more occupant (12 total instead of 11). Design upgrades include stern lounge refinements, and a higher freeboard to maximize space and passenger comfort.

As a matter of fact, the bow filler cushions provide versatile seating configurations while newly designed upholstery and ergonomic seatbacks contribute to maximum comfort. Of particular note, the reclining co-captain's chair with armrests and 180-degree swivel action will be the ideal place to soak up some sun or watch your friends and family members do various water sports.

Speaking of which, the 2015 Yamaha SX240 High Output makes the most of twin 1.8L high-output marine engines that provide reliable towing power -- perfect for water sports. Chief on the list of all-new technologies is Yamaha's Advanced Responsive Handling package, which includes an articulating keel. Next is Yamaha Quiet Cruise sound dampening for a smooth, quiet ride when you just want to relax. 

The 155mm, high-pressure jet pump drive system is designed with a high-flow intake and dynamic shape to effectively direct water into the pump for better thrust, performance, and hook-up. Making things easier is a thrust directional enhancer that creates more responsive handling as the boat is turned right and left at low speeds.

The navigator of the 2015 Yamaha SX240 High Output will enjoy a sleek helm featuring the Yamaha Connext LCD touchscreen and joystick interface that gives access to all major system functions and onboard entertainment at your fingertips. There's a convenient portside entertainment station with beverage centre, too.

As for storage, capacity is up from 2,826 litres in 2014 to 3,164 litres this year, including an oversized, in-floor locker.

Other highlights of the 2015 Yamaha SX240 High Output include a Bimini top, an integrated swim platform with Hydro-Turf mats, plus a re-boarding ladder at the bow and at the stern. Colour choices are Maple Red, Black, and Yacht Blue (same as last year).
