Dominating the brand's luxury performance lineup, the technology-laden, three-passenger 2013 Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 is arguably the yacht of personal watercrafts.

From its ultra-plush touring seat to a Limited Package that includes features like a custom cover, depth finder, glove box organizer, sandbag anchor, safety kit, and speed ties, it represents the ultimate in luxury, comfort, and convenience.

iControl technologies
Superior control and peace of mind for occupants on the 2013 Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 starts with Intelligent Brake & Reverse (iBR), which allows you to stop up to 100 feet sooner than with any other personal watercraft (so the company says). In addition, the separate levers let you keep both hands on the handlebars at all times. iBR makes docking far easier, too.

This machine further stands out with an Intelligent Suspension (iS) offering 6” of adjustment to isolate you from the impact of rough water and ensure a smooth ride on the lake.

The 2013 Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 is powered by the signature Rotax 4-TEC engine. Specifically designed for marine use, it not only provides quicker acceleration and a higher top speed, but also works hand-in-hand with ride-by-wire Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) for more precise engine calibration and better fuel economy.

Interestingly, Sea-Doo watercraft are the only ones to start in neutral, so the engine runs without propelling the craft forward. At speed, you can choose between three different operating modes at the touch of a button: Eco, Touring, and Sport.

Advanced design

Sea-Doo's renowned S³ hull is the first and only one of its kind. Its stepped design reduces drag, yet keeps it glued to the water for a stable and consistent ride. According to Sea-Doo, the material of the S³ hull is up to 20% lighter than the competition while remaining incredibly strong due to its ribbed construction.

Other premium features on the 2013 Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 include:
  • Cruise control;
  • Off-Throttle Assisted Steering (OTAS) which improves manoeuvrability in off-throttle situations;
  • Adjustable handlebars (you can still read the gauges while sitting or standing);
  • A Digitally Encoded Security System (DESS) to prevent unauthorized use;
  • A programmable learning key that limits speed for beginners;
  • And a fold-down reboarding step that makes it easy to jump right back on after taking a dip.
Let's not forget the exclusive D-Sea-Bel sound reduction system that makes Sea-Doo watercraft among the quietest on the water.

The 2013 Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 starts at $18,899. Consider it along with the Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 300LX and Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO.
